Goals and Implementation of the 5-Year Lendület Project
The aim of the planned research was to investigate the key factors of sucessful adaptation in various educational institutions. In the project, we employed modern solutions based on objective data: the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation programs was tested through cortisol level measurements, and sensor technology solutions were used for measuring and developing emotional and social skills that support coping. We established close professional collaborations with international experts and the Hungarian company Obimon Systems Ltd. Our joint goal was to define psychologically relevant variables, well-characterizing the background factors of adaptive processes, based on detailed behavioral data recorded in real time. Within the framework of the Lendület project, we examined the interrelations of these variables to better understand and support the process of adaptation to challenging environments.
